A Brief History
  • NAYAN A. SHAH

    Mayfair Housing was founded by Late Shri Arvindbhai Shah with his beloved wife Late Smt. Vasumati Arvind Shah in 1964 as the key motivator. During their tenure as the founder, Mr. and Mrs. Shah left no stone unturned in grooming their children Mr. Viren Shah, who presently lives in the USA and Mr. Nayan Shah, who now holds the reins to the 55-year-old company.

    With an extensive experience of 40 years, the current CMD of Mayfair Housing, Mr. Nayan Shah is a qualified MBA professional with specialisation in Finance and Project Management. It is under his excellent and principled leadership that Mayfair Housing has not only managed to become one of the top 10 real estate brands in Mumbai but also the first ever real estate brand to register one of their projects under MAHARERA.

    Mr. Shah’s overwhelming love for his family made him join his family business. Doing so, he knew he could stay closer to his parents and would simultaneously take Mayfair Housing to great heights. It was under his supreme guidance that Mayfair Housing has become synonymous with quality construction, impeccable design, transparency and ethical practices. Mr. Shah considers Shri Chotubhai Ajmera and Shri Mofatraj Munot as his role models and is constantly driven by their accomplishments in the real estate sector.

    Mr. Nayan Shah has also been a member of MCHI since its inception in 1982 and in 2018, he was also elected the 14th President of CREDAI-MCHI. He dreams of a vision to provide affordable housing to one and all in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and grow globally as well. Under his aegis, Mayfair Housing has recently signed an MOU with CREDAI-MCHI and the Govt. of India to deliver 8,200 units of affordable homes in Mumbai and MMR area.
