Powai is a dauntless modern suburb located in the North-East part of Mumbai. It is popularly known for its reverent 120-year-old lake and has grown exponentially in recent years. Today, it prides itself on being one of Mumbai’s most upmarket commercial and residential hubs.

Located east of the Powai lake is the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology. Founded in 1958, IIT Bombay is spread over a vast area of over 550 acres and is considered one of the best and most formidable technology and research institutions.
